10-day mission in Dakar and Addis Ababa: teaching the 2nd cohort of the University Diploma in digestive laparoscopy (Prof. Ousmane Ka), training at the Korean Hospital, and a notable presence at the first minimally invasive surgery congress in Ethiopia, organized by MIS Africa.

Med Surg Support has expanded into a new country !
November 2025
10-day Med Surg Support mission in Burundi: assessment of minimally invasive surgery, partnership development with Mercy Surgeons, and visits to major public and private healthcare facilities. The mission concluded that equipment is available but training remains a key challenge, and culminated in the signing of a collaboration agreement with Van Norman Clinic.

Dr. Segni, representing the MIS Africa association and a partner of MedSurgSupport, came to France, to Lyon and Paris, to participate in the European Congress of the Abdominal Wall Surgery Society.

Med Surg Support supports the HUMAVIENNE association

Founded by doctors from the hospital of Vienne, this association assists their Malagasy colleagues by donating equipment, particularly IT equipment, and providing medical training. Our donation enabled the shipment of a container to support the computerization of the Mahajunga hospital in Madagascar.

Goba, here we are again!

Return to Goba with a team of four digestive surgeons specialized in minimally invasive surgery. The objective is clear: to train and provide additional medical equipment.
Assella, the mission continues

Meeting Assella and Arsi University
January 2023
During a mission to the University of Arsi in Assella, links were forged with Dr Didha’s team. Despite a technical concern with laparoscopic equipment, operations were conducted and theoretical training. A new resuscitator was given by the Clinique de la Sauvegarde, allowing the resumption of laparoscopic surgeries and the continuing training of local surgeons.
